GLO Hotel Art

A superb hotel in a brilliant location. Clean modern rooms and a hotel with loads of character and history. The staff were superb, helpful and very friendly. I heartily recommend this hotel as a base for any Helsinki trip

We loved our two nights at GLO Hotel Art. Comfortable, clean, beautifully appointed, good-sized modern rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. The hotel is well-located for wandering that area of Helsinki. Definitely recommend!

I am a bit disappointed in the room and amenities for the price. Room was extremely small. Our first room was dusty and carpet stained. Asked about another room, which was fine. Totally annoyed that our room did not have coffee or tea. Upon check out, we saw tea in the housekeeping cart and asked at reception. Apparently our room mistakenly did not have them. How were we supposed to know? This is up to the person going in our room everyday! Gee, thanks a lot for not having this in there in the first place. To say something positive, hotel location is good, Roosa at reception was friendly and nice, buffet breakfast was really nice.

Cheap and awful - smallest room possible, uninspired service, expensive. All in all not not what we hoped for and unfortunately not recommendable. And there is nothing more to add here, even if the minimum characters are not reached.

I liked the walk-in shower and the bed was comfortable. Also there was a good selection of food with the included breakfast served buffet style in the basement of the ‘castle’. That summarizes the positives. The room was very small, tight even for one person. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful castle style entrance and reception area. The rooms are actually in the building next door. That building is modern with a squeaky elevator and card-lock doors. Suitable for a small to mid sized solo traveller but that’s all.
