Clarion Collection® Hotel Packhuset

We stayed in a number of hotels during our tour in Sweden. This was the worst: the price was also the most expensive and the quality the lowest. Outdated rooms (with mold in the bathroom), poor breakfast and obligatory (poor) evening meal in the price (the second evening we went elsewhere for dinner). We find it incomprehensible that papers were hung up everywhere to clean up plates etc ourselves. We have no problem with this, but we do if this price is charged. We strongly advise against this hotel and we will also make this known in a number of reviews. Mariott hotel in Stockholm was less pricey, much better rooms and beds, a super deluxe breakfast compared to yours. Staff didn't seem very motivated to me either.

Great location and the breakfast, fika and dinner are included. The facility is a bit old and rooms are funky. It gets 5 stars for effort. They stick to their 3:00 pm check in time whether your room is ready of not. Parking is easy once you figure out the parking App.

My hotel room had a boring view of an indoor ceiling full of bird droppings and large fans, fairly unappealing. The showerhead was poor and a little broken. Otherwise it was an OK stay, the breakfast was OK and the bed and quietness at night was good.

The room and bathroom was fine, but the bed and pillows were way to soft. The duvet was to warm. The staff was nice and welcoming except for the receptionist when we arrived. She seemed as if it was a bother to her. Very nice breakfast buffet.

Stayed in one of the new (oversized) rooms and they represent a huge upgrade for this old and worn down property. That said, the place is still average at best - flimsy towels, poor HVAC, unremarkable service and a zoo-like breakfast experience (forcing us to dine elsewhere).
