Clarion Hotel® Sea U

Great hotel where we had a lovely stay and leaving us with only good things to say. Perfect location close to trainstation, ferries to Denmark, beaches and shops. We had a very nice, spacious room with a big balcony and view over the water. The best part of this hotel for us is that dogs are allowed in all spaces of the hotel, even restaurants. So you don't have to leave your pooch in the room when you go for breakfast. They get their own bed and even treats. Friendly staff in all departments. Special thanks to Janne at reception for all his help and nice treatment. There are 3 different restaurants to try, allthough we would've liked something suited for kids. Otherwise I recommend trying pizza from Il Mio across the street. All in all we loved it and will be back!

I booket 2 nights in a room with a dog, I went to the room, it had bloodstains on the floor so I went to the reception and got another room, this one with long hair on the pillowcase. I went back to the reception but he had no other rooms available so he agreed to refund, he asked me to swipe my card and he now charged me for 2 more nights. He couldnt understand it eve though I showed him on my phone and he said he made a refund and convinced me everything was ok. He was really pissing me off and he went to the office to make a print so I could see it, but it had seriously the tiniest font ever and he said money would be the in 1-2 days. Now, I just recieved a refund of 2 nights, which means I paid for 2 night at this hotel. And I have to spend even more time writing with this hotel. Why???

A solid three star hotel. I checked in for a week's stay and was directed to a literal coat closet. It was the smallest hotel room I have EVER seen! No closet, a single bed pushed against a wall, four hangers on six inch rods coming from the wall and the world's smallest shower. The worst part was there was ABSOLUTELY NO ventilation. The room temperature can't be controled from your room and the window didn't open. I requested a room change and was told I could change rooms, but there would be a nightly charge. I knew I couldn't stay where they put me, so I paid the extra. The next room was okay, but again, a solid three star experience. The "pool" is more like a large, outdoor bathtub, but you have to pay to use it and there are no towels. The worst part was the blaring music that lasts until 1 am every weekend night from the entire lobby. Opening your window is the only way to get ventilation, but due to the street noise and the music on weekends, sleep is almost impossible. That being said, the staff is courteous and the breakfast is good.

Nice hotel in the middle of Helsingborg so we had high hopes… Booked a superior room but it was more like a standard double room. Had lunch at the roof top restaurant. Very expensive and quite poor. Sticky hamburger and poor pokebowl. Headed for the pool only to find out that it costed extra to use it. And you didn’t even get towels! Had to dry ourselfs with the bathroab… Average breakfast with poor refills.

Nice rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. Parking garage with plenty of charging stations for electric or plug-in hybrid cars. Main purpose of the trip was to visit the garden at Sofiero at palace, the summer palace of Swedish King Gustav VI Adolf.
