Comfort Hotel® Square

The location of the hotel is very good. Its a walking distance to the different attractions of the city. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet is good. It would be an advantage if i could read the contents and labels of the milk products and other foods ..that is if i am allergic to some ingredients.. The room is good but i miss a little ref ,coffemachine and etc. Checking in and out is done in an expressway. No hassles. All in all its was a nice stay.

We had a lot of mold in our bathroom and the shower taps clearly needed servicing and at times would not even close. Attempts to “be more sustainable” just felt like money saving tactics that completely defeated the whole point of why we book hotels in the first place. Felt more like a budget self service, out of date lodge than a modern hotel with standard services. The location is perfectly fine, but parking was super expensive. Staff were always friendly. Don’t expect a fridge in your room, a double bed or a useful AC in the summer. If these “luxury” features make a difference to you then consider paying a bit more elsewhere instead.

Perfect location, really lovely staff very helpful and friendly. Room suited majority of needs although wardrobe space very small. Ironing rooms on two floors. Rooftop area lovely space to relax in and with views of Stavanger harbour. Gym adequate. Everything very clean. Breakfast was very good everything you’d need and more. It’s a very modern hotel in a convenient location.

Choice of food for breakfast is rather poor. We were asked to leave the restaurant after breakfast at 10:10 because they needed to hoover. I did not even get to finish my coffee. At the cost of the room, I was expecting to have toiletries in the bathroom, at the very least toothpaste. Apart from hand dispenser and shower gel dispenser there was nothing. The rooms look a little worn now. The double bed in the room was 2 single beds pushed together and not fixed to each other. No wardrobe, just a few coat hangers at the entrance. My colleagues stayed in a near by hotel with similar price but with better facilities and better breakfast.

Location is not to far from main square and harbour area Spacious room, comfortable bedding and pillows. Great shower. Wished the window could be open wider. The breakfast buffet was adequate and tasty Check in was a tad unpleasant
