Plussaa: - 5 min kävely rautatieasemalta. - Kohtuuhintainen huonehinta sis. iltapäiväkahvit makean herkun kera (vohvelia ja kakkua) sekä suppean iltapalan (salaattia, keittoa, leipää, yksi lämmin vaihtoehto ja vesi). - Pienestä lisämaksusta tilava parveke standard-huoneeseen (valtaosa parvekkeista sisäpihalle päin 7. kerros, ei kuulu liikenteen melua sisäpihan huoneisiin) - Hyvät tyynyt ja sopivan pehmeä sänky. Pimentävät verhot ja näppärä lämmityksen ohjaus. - Erittäin hyvä ja tilava kuntosali sekä loistava aamiainen. Pientä miinusta: - Useat hotellin yleistilojen käsidesipullot tyhjiä. - Hissiin ja huonekäytäviin pääsi ilman avainkorttia (turvallisuus). - Huoneen valaistus liian "tunnelmallinen" ja tummasävyinen.

Vietin hotellissa 3 yötä lomaviikonlopun merkeissä vaimoni kanssa ja sen lisäksi 3 yötä yksin liiketoimien takia. Superior-tason huone oli hyvän kokoinen ja erittäin siisti. Huone oli myös melko hiljainen pääkadulle avautuvasta näkymästä huolimatta. Hotelli tarjosi myös erinomaisen illallisen, joka kuului hintaan ja tarjoiltiin 7. kerroksen loungessa. Itse en voi antaa hotellille viittä tähteä, koska huoneesta puuttui säilytystilaa ja kylpyhuoneessa hyllytilaa. Tilanne toki parani hieman kun vaimoni palasi kotiin. Yöpyisin hotellissa uudemman kerran - ehkä.

Back at this hotel again 1 year on. Standards were still as good as my last review. Rooms still very clean, and good service. But what let itself down and why I marked lower than last review was that after a year, they still have fixed the issue of keeping the food hot at breakfast. It’s a shame because it’s so well prepared but is so cold. ☹️

Really Grand and good breakfast✨ all though not so good dinner, but who eats dinner at the hotel anyways. The roms were excelent and we even got two batrooms and one had a bathtub🫧 Only issue was the statues😅

The hotel charges for early check in and if you don’t want to pay or your room isn’t ready, you can leave your bags in an unsecured room. The room has a wall of safes but none seemed to be operable. The base, standard room is very small. There’s no place to put one suitcase much less 2. The bathroom is tiny; if you leave the door open and shower, the bed will get wet. However, the room is clean and serves its purpose. The late afternoon fika (coffee, tea, and cake) is a nice touch and the included evening meal is very valuable given its quality and how expensive everything is in Norway. The breakfast buffet is equally extensive and of good quality. Tour groups seem to use this hotel so it can be crowded, especially the small space used for the evening meal.
