Farris Bad

Farris Bad on tasokas kylpylähotelli meren rannalla. Kylpylä sijaitsee osin meren päällä, mikä mahdollistaa myös meressä uimisen. Tarjolla on erilaisia saunoja, mukaan lukien Finnish sauna. Hotellissa ja huoneissa on tilan tuntua, ja palvelu varsinkin vastaanotossa oli erittäin ystävällistä. Matkustimme Larvikiin junalla Oslon suunnasta ja jatkoimme laivalla Tanskaan.

I am very dissapointed with this hotel after a night stay in a standard room. There was snus around in the room, the champagne glass was totally dirty and the bathroom in general looked old and had nasty tiles. And the shower is very tiny. There was not even a q-tip there. I would expect more for the price to pay at a Spa hotel. There was no kettle or a coffe machine in the room either… We had dinner in the restaurant and it was totally over cooked and dry. Both dishes. The brekfast is amazing. The spa area is great.

Incredibly good service and clean hotel! Seaside delux was perfect for a weekend, with a unique view of the sea. The spa was surprisingly large, not crowded, and had several sections which made it a nice experience. The restaurant also delivered very well. 10 out of 10!

It has become a tradition for my friend and me, along with our teenage daughters, to have a stay at Farris Bad during the summer. There is a reason why we choose to come here every year. Farris Bad has the largest and best spa facilities in Norway, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is incredibly hospitable, accommodating, and service-oriented. The stay is a pleasure from the moment we arrive until we depart.

Weekend break and how wonderful it has been. The hotel is great, staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you if required. The food in the restaurant is divine, from breakfast, lunchtime buffet snd evening meal. The Spa One of the best spas we have ever been to. You cant take the phone/camera in so we have no photos but believe me it is wonderful, swim pool, ice plunge pool, mineral cave, finnish sauna, steam bath, soft sauna and much more! Walk across the bridge and sit on the swings and gaze out over the ocean! A few steps further and go down the ladder to swim in the sea! The hotel is on the beach and there are multiple indoor and out jacuzzi’s to sit and sit in the sun! Love it here and totally recommend, its expensive but worth every penny!
