Clarion Collection® Hotel Borgen

Beautiful historic building in a central location nearby the castle. We had a large and comfortable room (with a snug tower corner). Unfortunately it was quite warm in the room and no working airconditioning, but a fan brought some relieve. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner buffet (both with enough choice) as well as the free fika. There are (paid) parking places for hotel guests nearby the hotel. We were lucky to find the free hotel bikes available, so we could explore the city, city parks and the Rynningeviken Natuurreservat.

We had a very good experience at the Clarion Collection Hotel Borgen. The hotel is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms are especially nice. The fact meals were included with our stay, was a big plus. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel was within walking distance from the city center, and the beautiful castle. Parking was in a separate parking lot, with just a short walk from the hotel. We were able to park in front of the hotel to unload and load our luggage. There was a lift for luggage so there was no need to carry our luggage up or down the few steps into the hotel lobby area. The hotel was in a beautiful location near a canal. It was a very quiet and peaceful location. I would highly recommend this hotel, and if I were ever to return to Örebro, I would definitely stay here again.

Location is very good next to the castle and city center. Hotel is in very nice historic building itself. Afternoon coffee and buffet dinner was included in the room charge. Dinner was excellent! Good bed. Shower in a bath. There is a sauna but it has shared change/locker room and no shampoo or washing gel in the shower.

Talk about the perfect location for a hotel in Orebro right on the canal. My sister and I stayed 1-night during our vacation to Sweden. Our room was good size and a the bathroom was huge. I really like the extra amenities the Clarion hotels offer guests - breakfast buffet, fika (coffee, tea and sweets) in the afternoon and a hot dinner - all included in the price of your hotel room. It’s so handy to not have to leave your hotel after a long day of driving or sight-seeing. My sister used the sauna (one for women and the other for men) and said it was super hot and relaxing. Parking is an extra fee and located on the little island next to the hotel. It’s only a 2-minute walk. You can park for 10 minutes in-front of the hotel for loading/unloading. The castle is literally 1/2 a block away. We both really loved our time at the hotel. Highly recommend if visiting Orebro.

Our stay here was great— the staff were friendly and attentive, and very helpful when we needed it. Everything felt personal and we felt very taken care of. For the price, this was an outstanding value, and the location was amazing— breakfast in view of Örebro Slott! The location, the beautiful building, the comfortable beds (we even bought pillows to take home with us), the service, having fika & an evening meal included— all of it made for a wonderful trip.
