Quality Hotel™ 11

Varasin tietämättömyyttäni huoneet tästä budjettihotelliketjusta. Pettymys oli suuri kun astuimme todella pelkistettyyn huoneeseen. Sänky, liinavaatteet ha kaikki olivat edullisen hotellin tasoa. Markalla markan tavara!

If having a conference at Eriksbergshallen (which is to recommend, for who else offers popcorn and ice cream for their conference guests?!), hotel 11 is the natural choice. This time I got a huge room (last time it was minuscule) so cannot be but happy about it. This time I also remembered to ask for a water kettle in the reception on the arrival, as it presumably does not belong to the rooms' equipment (there were no mugs in the room either, so if you want one, ask for it). Breakfast was really nice, as always, a good spread of choices.

It's a noce hotel and was well located for the business meetings that I had, I don't think I would stay here for a private stay with my family, it's too far from central Gothenburg. The rooms are spacious, but very dated, the hotel needs a refurbishment. The bathrooms are clean, but like the room dated. The tv was small, you can't stream to it. The breakfast was good, plenty of choices, the breakfast room like all the public areas in the hotel does appear to have been renovated, it's modern and stylish.

We spent a night there and enjoyed our stay. We managed to find a public parking nearby. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. However the floor is slightly old and makes some noises. Good breakfast and service.

The lobby is vanishingly small if you think about the hotel's size. A little trashy entrance at check-in in the evening.Lpng corridors full of scratch marks have been somewhat aimlessly decorated with copies of famous furniture designers.With the high low water mark, the standard of the room was full of rubbed thresholds and mouldings. Stained chair fabrics, a slightly crooked TV and a strange desk with no finesse. The basic room was very basic, no understatement.Challenges of the overcrowded breakfast dining room despite the exemplary choice to book slots.Here you get to mingle with barefoot guests, sweaty gym goers, running children and guests who fill their plates to the brim.Maybe that's why they chose to focus on quantity instead of quality. Missing bread that isn't bake off and decent juice.No, it wasn't a dream overnight stay.
