Clarion Collection® Hotel Aurora

Erinomainen sijainti. Siistit huoneet. Hyvä aamupala. Ekstra yllätys iltapäivä-vohvelit. Hintaan sisältynyt ilta buffet oli yllättävän hyvä ja runsas. 5. krs sauna ja ulkoporeallas oli kivat. Ainoa miinus on parkkipaikkojen määrä.

Menin Tromsoon katsomaan revontulia. Ruuhkainen hotelli, oli kaikki tarpeellinen. 1. Kiitos kaverille suosituksista, oli hyvä että katsoimme etukäteen että saimme huoneen parvekkeella. Mahtava maisema selkeänä päivänä. 2.Todella lähellä kaikki suurempia kohteita ja aktiviteettejä. Ei tarvi kävellä kylmässä. 3. Sebastian, lämin ja ystävällinen vastaanottovirkailija. Puhelias ja hauska, aina oli suositella paikkoja ja ideoita.

We stayed at the Clarion Collection Hotel Aurora for a week while exploring Tromsø and it suited our needs perfectly. It is conveniently close to the centre, yet off the main street; and its location at the harbour offers some stunning views from the dining room. The staff (reception desk, mealtimes) was polite, approachable and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very tasty; coffee and tea provided 24/7 in the lobby; main course at supper included a soup as well as various salads; and we thoroughly enjoyed our “Fika” time (between 3-5 pm) with hot drinks and a yummy variety of cakes/ pancakes/ pastries. Our room was functional and clean; with comfortable beds, “just right” duvets and underfloor heating in the bathroom (great!). Can definitely recommend and would love to come back one day – thank you!

Amazing Hotel and Great value with Bed Breakfast and evening meal. Tromso is pretty expensive for food and drink so the free evening meal saves you some Kroner. The full buffet Breakfast options are very impressive, cake and coffee is a nice touch in the afternoon. We had Compact room on the 5th floor with views of the Library. Nice and warm with a thermostat controlled heater near the window and a heated floor in the bathroom. Very comfy bed and Scandi style two duvets on the large double bed. For a small fee you can go in the Hotel Hot Tub for 30mins (also on the 5th floor) which we would highly recommend. Tea / coffee & sparkling water are available 24/7 just past reception and comfy seats / sofas to lounge on (in front of reception desk). We really enjoyed our stay, and plan to return one day. Hotel is centrally based and only 2 min walk to most pickup points for Excursions

We were transiting through Tromso on our way the Kirkenes and opted to stay here as it was quite central. Staff were very friendly and professional. We were able to use the secure luggage storage before check-in. We took advantage of the free Fika, free evening meal and free breakfast. Service in the restaurant was excellent! Our room was very comfortable and the hotel is located close to a main stop for airport shuttle buses and is also close to local bus routes. I’d stay here again with pleasure.
