Clarion Hotel® Oslo Airport

Lousy service. The food and the waiter are not what you would expect from a hotel in this category.. Beds are ok and the service in the conference hall are top notch. The tech guy was amazing and really service minded. Wish the rest of the service staff where om the same page as this guy. We do not recommend the hotel, as the food and service in the restaurant way below what you would expect. Some of the staff are unfriendly against the guests.

Good breakfast, pleasant and serviceminded staff. Great for large conferences. Recommended for businesstravelers. Shuttle bus from Oslo Airport Gardermoen to and from the hotel. Large, airy and clean rooms.

Clarion Oslo Airport is located just off the airport, OSL. Sadly there is no free way of getting there, the cheapest way is the shuttle bus which takes 12 minutes and cost 80 NOK single journey or take a taxi which takes 10 minutes and cost 170+ NOK depending on the type of taxi. Parking is also charged for if you arrive by car. If you want to go into Oslo you need to take the shuttle bus and change at the airport for either bus or train. The hotel is nice and modern with a large lobby where you find the restaurants and bars. On the lower level is a good size gym with a wellness area and saunas. The rooms are nice and big and some has nice balconies. Overall a good airport hotel, however it is a shame there is no complimentary shuttle.

If You value your sleep, don’t stay here. It is horrendous. Every sound travels between rooms and floors. Especially plumbing is bad and makes lots of sharp sounds when pea pole shower etc. I have an early flight tomorrow and needed to sleep well. Let the hotel know in advance and they put me in this room. Being a top tier customer this does not cut it.

Ten minutes by shuttle bus from the airport, Cost 40NKR one way, cards only. Bus service every 30 mins starting at 5 am.Staff very helpful responding quickly to a pre arrival email query. Excellent breakfast cold from 5 am and hot items from 6.30 am. Lots of choices and plenty to eat. Coffee and tea available 24 hours from machine in the lobby with small sitting area. No kettle or coffee making in room Room small, one chair , small table and drinks fridge - NB no prices! What confused us was the small bottle of wine and two glasses left on the small table. This looked like a welcome drink but we were suspicious the cost of drinks in Norway being high. So we checked and it wold have been very expensive, so it was placed in the drinks fridge ! For one night this was OK
