Well-priced, central location

We stayed in a very comfortable double room. I appreciated the firm bed after a dreadfully soft mattress elsewhere. The room was small but all we needed for our overnight stay. The hotel is very central. It might help newcomers to Oslo to have a paper map of the centre along with a list of nearby restaurants including distances.

You sleep in a warrobe, not in a hotel room !

We had booked 2 rooms in this hotel because it is in the centre of Oslo, and even if we had to pay a little bit more for the room (150 € including breakfast via Booking). What a disappointment! They are not rooms but wardrobes: see the picture, you can't even turn around the bed and you have to step over the suitcases! They are double beds but they give you 2 individual duvets and, on top of that, the mattress is so soft that we both sleep in the middle. And finally, the soundproofing is bad, you can hear people passing in the corridor. We strongly advise against it, even for 1 night: these are not hotel rooms!

Very Small Rooms

Rooms are extremely small. If there are two of you, one must sit on bed while other gets suitcase and opens. You cannot open suitcases unless you put on bed — it is that small. No amenities to speak of. Two towels and two face towels — no wash cloths. Very clean, nevertheless, and centrally located. The breakfast, which is included, was very good, hence, the “3” rating.
